Applications Developer - Role Overview:
Our client is looking for an energetic individual to join their busy IT team as a core team player in a diverse IT environment, who is trustworthy, responsible, with good communication skills and who can be relied upon to keep the business systems running and provide good ideas and develop high quality, efficient software solutions.

You will be required to understand business/customer needs, analyse process/system issues and create detailed solutions that entail software/database development using old/new technologies that meet and or exceed the business/customer requirements.
The right candidate is a born problem solver, with at least 2 years commercial experience (Applications Developer or other Software Development role), who has a keen eye for detail, interested in creating quality robust solutions and not satisfied with quick fixes.

Applications Developer - Principal Tasks of Job:
- To understand Business/Customer needs;
- To analyse Process/System issues;
- To create detailed solutions that entail software/database development using old/new technologies that meet and/or exceed the business / customer requirements;
- To attend training courses as and where necessary to ensure personal and team job skills keep pace with legislative and business developments.
- Ensure compliance of policies and procedures.
- To have a flexible approach to work.
- To be aware of Health and Safety requirements, in accordance with guidelines as set out in the Health and Safety manual.

- Or Embarcadero (Borland, Codegear) Delphi 2007

- BTEC/IT Degree desirable.
