Job Elements: -

• Utilising networks, contacts, media and social media to provide potential leads and market intelligence.
• Generating new business opportunities by sourcing potential leads and following them through to generate interest in the company’s services.
• Account management of existing clients to ensure repeat business.
• Acting as the introducer for the business, opening doors and presenting the companies competencies with a view to future business opportunities.
• In partnership with the Director ensure that the scope of any potential RFQ is fully detailed and understood in order to gain commercial advantage during tender process.
• Co-ordinating the bid/tender process internally to ensure accuracy, commercial correctness and timely submission.
• Presentation of tenders to clients and follow up to ensure conversion is achieved.
• Business travel will be involved both domestically and occasional international

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience within a technical sales role.
• Ideally educated within a technical/engineering subject.
• Ability to hold technical discussions with potential clients of all levels.
• A background within manufacturing (or a supplier to).
• Ability to open new doors whilst still being able to maintain existing relationships.
• High commercial awareness.
• IT literate
• Well presented with strong presentation skills
• Willingness to travel as and when required
