Newham Partnership Working (NPW) is a not for profit mutual organisation that provides high quality professional support services for schools and is owned by schools. After a highly successful first two years we now enter an exciting and critical phase in our development. As our Head of Education ICT, you will be a key member of our senior leadership team and run our Education ICT service, providing outstanding support to existing clients, as well as contributing to the acquisition of new business.

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Executive and leading a team of 55, this is a challenging and stimulating role which offers a real opportunity to contribute to the development of a young, growing organisation.

You will lead our Education ICT services, ensuring high quality provision for existing clients, negotiating and securing new service agreements as well as providing a responsive Education ICT service across both curriculum and management networks. Key areas include strategic Education ICT advice, procurement,project consultancy and programme implementation, help desk management, networks and security.

Our Head of Education ICT also acts as NPW's lead ICT and Information Governance professional. Your role will encompass strategic leadership of NPW as an active member of the senior leadership team in ensuring the delivery of our strategic priorities.

Success in this role will see you build a reputation for enhancing and developing service quality and value for money, both protecting and growing your client base and generating surpluses that can be shared with our membership.

About you

You will be an accomplished and dynamic Education ICT leader with extensive experience of providing ICT services to schools. An excellent communicator, you will bring a track record of successful customer and stakeholder management and the leadership credibility to inspire colleagues and develop your service.Commercial acumen appropriate to leading a traded service would be of particular interest.
