Digital Copywriter

Job description

Reporting to the copy manager, the digital copywriter will write copy for a wide range of projects: including newsletters, email programmes, website copy and blog pieces.

This role will go to a copywriter who is brimming with ideas, who thrives in a fast paced environment and who is able to turn their hand to anything in the digital sphere. They'll be in their element writing snappy, action-orientated copy. They'll also be comfortable writing longer, editorial content.

The digital copywriter will continually look for opportunities to improve the content and will enjoy working in an environment where copy is tested and measured against data-driven targets.

Whether they're writing a few words to go on a button or working with the design team on an entire set of wireframes - user experience will always be at the forefront of their mind.

Responsibilities

Write copy for all areas of the business, including:

  • Email programmes
  • Newsletters
  • Website content (from entire user journeys to single buttons)
  • SEO/blog content
  • Email templates
  • Acquisition marketing collateral

Work closely with:

  • the CRM team, responding to their feedback and collaborating to improve the performance of the email content
  • the product team, responding to their feedback and taking briefs on website projects
  • the SEO team, ensuring that their providing quality content to deadline
  • the technical copywriter (responsible for help content), to share information about any upcoming projects
  • the translations team, ensuring that everything gets translated for their international points of sale

Requirements, Skills & Experience

  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Minimum of 2 years copywriting experience with a focus on email copy.
  • A very creative mindset
  • Very comfortable responding to feedback
  • Ability to write within given tone of voice
  • Experience working in a digital, online environment
