Company Overview

Trainline is the UK's leading online provider of rail tickets and journey planning and sets the pace in mobile rail-commerce with its app ranked #1 in travel. Overall, trainline is the UK's 5th largest E-commerce player. To date, Trainline has very successfully helped British rail passengers to save money, time and hassle by providing the best place to plan & purchase rail travel.

The next chapter for Trainline is to broaden its services and to offer those to a wider range of travelers. Integrating beyond advanced purchase and beyond rail, Trainline will be a travel buddy in the traveler's pocket/bag, dynamically supporting them towards a personalized door-to-door journey experience which may include buses, taxis or other ground transport, for one-time trips or regular journeys (season tickets), and for both domestic trips or travel across international borders.

In January 2015, prior to partnering with KKR, Trainline announced an Intention To Float. The ITF document contains the fullest disclosure of its business yet made by the company.
