An ambitious Software Engineer is required to join team of industry experts developing DTV, STB, DVR and IP/DVB Solutions in the Leeds area.

the ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years' experience developing embedded software for the Video Broadcast industry and you'll be passionate about driving the development of new cutting edge products. The team is small, but what they lack in numbers, they more than make up for in technical know-how - they're a particularly technical bunch so you'll need to know your stuff but, crucially, you won't not be afraid to ask questions. As the role develops and should you wish to progress further, you can expect career development in the form of managing small projects, move on to more customer facing roles or taking technical ownership and running a team of engineers.

Essential skills:
- Strong C/C++
- Embedded Linux
- An appreciation of DVB Middleware
- Demonstrable experience developing DVB software (Terrestrial or Satellite)

Desirable skills:
- Experience using Qt
- Knowledge of G-Streamer framework and plug-ins.
