Scrum Master - Worcestershire - GBP40-50k

A software solutions organisation in Worcester are currently looking to hire a Scrum Master to join their growing team.

You main duties will be to manage a team with a variety of skills and to be responsible for end to end delivery of a schedule of work delivering software products

Key responsibilities

* To Scrum Master a delivery team, taking end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of a defined backlog

* Removal of any blockages for the Scrum Team

* Facilitation of all of the key Scrum framework meetings

* Management of communication between the team and project stakeholders

* Working with external teams (internal and out-sourced) to ensure the highest possible quality of service and delivery

* Coaching of team members in the Scrum methodology as well as championing the methodology to external teams and stakeholders

* Manage a team of business analysts, developers, and testers, in the maintenance, design, production, and quality assurance of code for use in products

We are looking for applicants with extensive industry application of an agile methodology (ideally Scrum) and a background in hands-on software development, business analysis, or testing.

Other key experience/attributes include:
* CSM or PSM (advantageous)

*Proven track record for task management and mentoring other team members

* Proven line management experience

* Experience of application development in a complex, high performance SOA environment

* Knowledge of quality assurance techniques and practices
