Instructional Designer - E-Learning

An Instructional Designer with an exposure to compliance, risk and regulatory topics within eLearning is required to join the Enterprise Risk Management division of one of the worlds leading sources of intelligent information for businesses and professionals. This organisation delivers in/depth insight to the financial and risk, legal, tax and accounting, intellectual property and science and media markets, powered by the worlds most trusted news organisation.

Responsibilities

As an Instructional Designer, you will be primarily responsible for transforming raw content and data received from subject matter experts into engaging off the shelf and bespoke eLearning courses for a diverse range of clients.

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

*Assisting with identifying, documenting and developing learning objectives and scope of training modules for clients

*Working with internal and external subject matter experts to understand and script course content

*Taking a primary role in the generation and assembly of course content, including course design elements, sourcing, selection and editing of media for inclusion in the course module

*Work with the E-learning digital designers to develop interactive elements of the course and to assemble the final course output

*Responsible for ensuring content review and correction to ensure final modules meet the quality assurance standards

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in E-learning content design with a focus on risk and regulatory topics. A personal passion for the learner experience is essential and this must show through the creation of content that not only engages the learner but also results in behavioural change.

*Extensive eLearning Content Design Experience

*Capable of understanding technical and legal subjects

*Exposure to compliance, risk and regulatory topics desirable

*Has experience working with a variety of authoring tools and learning management systems

*Candidates with an eLearning qualification will be looked on favourably
