Sales Engineer - Metrology Equipment - Bristol

My client designs, develops and manufactures metrology equipment and corresponding software, used predominantly for testing applications in the aerospace, industrial, construction and motorsport markets. They're currently looking for a Sales Engineer, ideally in the Bristol area, who has a proven track record in new business development (on either a national or international scale).

This person will also need to provide technical support and product demonstrations on customer site, so a service or applications background would be preferred.

They will also need:

- A technical degree or HNC (electronics/mechanical engineering, materials science, civil engineering, physics or similar)
- A really strong understanding of metrology equipment
- A track record driving distribution as well as direct sales
- The willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50% in total)
- To be a commutable distance from Bristol, or to have a home office with good international travel links
