**Electrical Engineer required to join the expanding Engineering Department within an established industry leader**

The candidate should have the equivalent of either an electrical degree standard qualification or have an electrical HND and relevant experience within the panel manufacturing industry. 

The Electrical Engineer Role:

Reporting to the Contracts Director (via a Framework Manager) you will be responsible for the electrical design of LV Switchboards, Motor Control Centres and Control / PLC Panels to mainly Water Authority specifications and within the company quality procedures. If required you may also be involved in the design of 'Electrical Supply Industry' panels . 

Your duties will include reviewing client specifications, producing general arrangement and schematic drawings using 2D BricsCAD (very similar to AutoCAD), specifying equipment lists and liaising with both client and manufacturing personnel. An awareness of type 2 coordination, load lists, P&ID drawings, instrument loops and relay logic would be advantageous. 

Your Knowledge:

Equipment knowledge of ABB drives, Mitsubishi and Rockwell PLCs (hardware only) and Ultrasonic level relays would be a benefit. You will be expected to attend occasional site meetings (within the UK) when needed for engineering purposes and site surveys with customers.
