Bakery Operative - Bolton

Bakery Operatives required for a Nationally recognised Bakery which is one of the areas biggest employers. A great opportunity to work at this well known and busy site. There is a potential for an on-going shift pattern and eventually possible permanent position.

Shifts:
This is a 24/7 operation site and so the shifts cover all-day-everyday.
The most regular shifts are:
0600 - 1800
1800 - 0600


The busiest days are Thursday - Sunday and so the busiest rotas are over these days with overtime in the week.

Jobs/Roles:
Production - Working throughout the production process. From product/ingredient mixing; Operating the production machines; to packing/wrapping the finished goods. This is the heart of the bakery, producing huge quantities of product ready for distribution around the country. Previous experience in this industry would be an advantage but not essential; the same goes for Food Hygiene Certificates.


Hygiene - a team of staff what ensure all parts of the operation/production are running properly. Industrial cleaning within the bakery: Cleaning machines in production and working the tray wash in dispatch.

If you have worked in the bakery industry and/or have food hygiene certificates this would be an excellent job for you. Alternatively if you live locally and would like to be trained to work on site you could be perfect for the roles.

Once you have applied and registered, there is a 2 day induction.
