Primary Teacher

A Primary school in the picturesque county of Bedfordshire are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their talented and successful team of staff. The post commences in September 2015 and whilst it is initially temporary it has the possibility of becoming permanent.

The successful candidate will work within an Academy Trust and teach in one of their two partner Ofsted rated "Good " Primary schools within a 15 minute radius of each other in the Bedfordshire area. The school is looking to appoint an exceptional individual who has a passion for teaching and a commitment to improving the life chances of young people. The person may be experienced or an NQT however they must be working towards Qualified Teacher Status.

Main duties and responsibilities will be to set expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils. You will be required to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of how pupils learn and encourage pupils to take a responsible conscientious attitude to their work and study.

There are excellent local and international transport links with London Heathrow airport less than a 30 minute drive. There are numerous nearby points of interest in and around the surrounding area including historical buildings and leisure facilities.

To be eligible to apply for this position you are required to be a qualified or newly qualified teacher.
