A Nursery Manager is required to join a Nursery and Pre-School conveniently situated in Cantley, Doncaster.
Responsibilities:
- To manage all day to day operations of the nursery.
- To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education within the nursery.
- To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff.
- To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculum are implemented and adhered to at all times.
- To ensure that all legislative documentation is up to date and accurate ensuring health, safety and well being of the children at all times.
- To be influential in developing strong links with parents and other professionals.
- Participate with fundraising ideas and social events for the benefit of the Nursery.
- To take money and be responsible for the collection of fees from parents/carers and where necessary discussing with parents/carers any issues around non payments of fees.
- To take full responsibility to ensure staffing rotas, two year progress checks and transition reports are carried out in a timely manner.
- To ensure newsletters and invoices are sent out in a timely manner.
- To be responsible for staff supervisions and peer observations.
- To ensure that show rounds, bookings and admissions are dealt with in a professional manner.
You will have good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Salary Negotiable on experience
