Marketing Manager - Chester - cGBP30k

Highly successful digital marketing agency, based in Chester, is looking for their own Marketing Manager to oversee all marketing activity for the company (on- and offline, including PR).

Reporting into the Business Development Director, you will be responsible for driving all marketing campaigns for the agency. You will oversee strategy and planning, and then manage and deliver all campaigns and marketing plans. You will be involved with all teams within the business and expected to work well with them - drafting press releases, reporting on campaign activity, organising promotional events and updating internal teams on company services and products.

You will liaise with heads of departments on the delivery of all marketing activity, ensuring each team's resource is available and their KPIs are supported through the planned marketing activity. You will project manage delivery of all campaigns, including testing and reporting - working with the company's marketing automation system and ensuring that content is ready on time, and monitor all campaigns for continuous improvement. You will write reports for the board to highlight successes and recommendations in line with sales forecasts and company ambition. You will develop the customer retention strategy, in line with company KPIs and ensure that the right messages are getting out to the right clients.

You will organise and plan events, including pre-, live- and post-event marketing. You will liaise and negotiate with relevant sponsors and advertising partners, to ensure the best value and relevant planned media. You will also be tasked with securing speaker opportunities for internal staff, to demonstrate thought leadership, while also attending digital marketing conferences, being an ambassador for the company.

You must be an experienced Marketing Manager (either agency- or client-side), where digital has been a strong driver of marketing results. You will have experience of writing and presenting board reports, and be able to demonstrate expertise with delivering multiple marketing activities (both on- and off-line) with measurable results - this is absolutely key!
