We are working on behalf of a growing employer in Cambridge, looking to find a talented and experienced Web Developer to join their thriving team and play a key role in the development and maintenance of key web products for the company.

With strong knowledge and skills in Front End disciplines such as JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5 and CSS3, and following AGILE methodology your role will be to write code according to the industry best practice and company standards (these may change from time to time) and provide specific technical expertise, guidance and recommendations to colleagues.

You will work on key projects with the development team and document designs in a suitable format according to the company standards as well as provide estimates for the time required to implement solutions.

Your skills profile will include recent experience of advanced web programming: for example, as part of a significant development project (commercial, academic or personal), good communication skills and enthusiasm to share your knowledge with technical colleagues. You will be confident and have demonstrable experience of Javascript MV* Frameworks (such as Ember.js, Angular.js, Backbone.js), Twitter Bootstrap, jQuery, CSS 3, Html 5 and experience working with APIs (ideally RESTful) along with knowledge and understanding of Responsive Design.

Additionally, you will also have experience in some Back End technologies such as C# and ASP.NET as well as some database knowledge eg MongoDB, Oracle, SQL.
