IT Manager/Senior Systems Administrator - Permanent, circa GBP30k p.a, C

My client is a law firm looking for an experienced IT Manager to be responsible for the IT function of the firm. Previous experience in a legal environment is highly desirable using legal software (LexisNexis, Solcase etc.) and experience of Case/Practice Management software, familiarity with PBX phone systems is useful.

The successful candidate will have experience of providing IT support in a standalone capacity. This is a brilliant opportunity for either a Systems Administrator/IT Manager who is looking for a role in which they will be given responsibility for the IT function.

They will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for a broad range of IT provision responsibilities from end user IT Support through to new server installations and telecommunication systems.

Work Experience

• Experience of providing IT in a standalone capacity (either as a IT Manager/Systems Administrator/Systems Manager or similar).
• Experience of implementing IT systems
• Experience in project management
• Experience working within a professional service firm
• It would also be advantageous if the candidate has experience in developing/supporting legal case management software (currently LexisNexis Visualfiles, SOS and Solcase

Knowledge, Skills and Ability

• Strong network administration skills - Microsoft/Cisco (preferred)
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise and delegate
• Full UK Driving License
