The role

Our vision is for IT to be a valued business partner, providing innovative services to our students and staff as Enterprise Application Team Leader you will provide direction, support and delivery of innovative solutions that will allow Kingston University to improve capabilities of their core applications.

As a technical lead you will help shape and develop a team of subject matter experts across a range of applications including but not limited to Student related systems, Timetabling, HR, Finance, Estates and CRM, using your knowledge, industry standards and best practice you will develop a high performing culture that will allow your staff to grow and maximise their potential.

The Person

You will bring to the role extensive, relevant knowledge and experience of IT best practice including -

• A strong technical background in managing, supporting and developing functionality for a complex enterprise application portfolio (Student Records, Timetabling, HR, Finance, CRM and Estates) within a large University and/or a commercial organisation
• Acting as an agent for change you will demonstrate a passion for harnessing technology and information systems to improve efficiency and organisational effectiveness
• Experience of managing and developing a team of technical specialists to ensure the delivery of high quality, available and reliable services within a large user environment
• Proven experience of leading and managing application related projects in line with Prince 2 standards
• As an inspiring Enterprise Applications Team Leader you will have the ability to identify the wider impact of decisions made at all levels in a complex programme, over a long period of time

Communication

• You will be a self-motivated and dynamic individual who is able to challenge and influence others, develop and maintain collaborative working relations across IT and non IT departments
• High level, proven inter-personal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to lead and motivate internal teams and vendor alike
