Job description:

Core-Asset Consulting's client, a leading asset management firm, has an opening for a Programme Manager on an initial 6 month contract. The successful candidate will have strong exposure to both MiFID regulations and asset management.

Core responsibilities:

  • Lead a programme of change from a regulatory perspective to ensure the business is fully compliant with any changes to appropriate legislative and directive changes
  • Assess and apply the new MIFID II regulations from a technical and operational perspective to business functions
  • Work with senior management to ensure that the programme is aligned with business objectives and that any approach adopted implements the required changes whilst protecting the business from risk
  • Define approach workstreams and recruit appropriate individuals to lead the implementation of the required changes
  • Communicate with stakeholders and seek to mitigate any potential risk

  • Excellent relationship management and networking skills to work with senior stakeholders across the business
  • Enthusiastic and confident with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to provide clear and concise management information to stakeholders and senior management

  • Team orientated to effectively support team members when required and communicate business requirements

Core requirements:

  • Exceptional programme management experience within the asset management industry is essential
  • Legal, compliance and risk experience is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of MiFID and working knowledge of the legislative changes MiFID II will bring is desirable
  • Degree educated
