County Durham is developing a vibrant Cultural offer which is at the heart of regenerating the City and wider County by creating local opportunities, growing tourism and attracting inward investment. Following a substantial
review of the Culture and Sport Service, we are now looking for new team members who can support this transformation. We’re looking for leaders, who are creative and enthusiastic; people who value community engagement and the benefits that culture and sport can bring both socially and economically to our area. These are challenging times for local government and we are looking for individuals who can rise to the challenge.

Responsible for the technical management and delivery of the County’s events, festivals and cultural programme, through effective planning and
communication, you will ensure that the busy calendar of activity is implemented successfully.
