Reliability & Improvements Engineer

North Wales.

Glanbia Cheese Ltd. is seeking to appoint a permanent Reliability & Improvements Engineer within our Maintenance Department.

You must be a time served and qualified Engineer who has either a mechanical and/or electrical bias and who is qualified to BTEC/ONC level. Ideally you will have previous experience of maintaining and repairing a range of equipment in a manufacturing environment which includes PLC’s and automated control systems.

Working 40 hours each week from Monday to Friday you must be able to provide out of hours cover when needed and live within a reasonable commute of site.

You will be expected to drive Continual Improvement in the reliability of plant equipment and services in order to prevent critical equipment failures and to identify improvement opportunities and undertake fault diagnosis.

You will lead cross functional project teams and have responsibility for small Capital Projects to replace/upgrade life expired systems and equipment.
