An opportunity has arisen at one of the UK's most exciting IT companies. My client is looking for someone with a background working with a broad range of Infrastructure technologies to move into a Technical Lead (Storage and Virtualisation) position to join their thriving division.

Responsibilities will include:

• Technical service improvement- 50%
• Design/Architect of new solutions- 25%
• Technical Lead/Incident Management- 25%
• Creation of technical incident documentation and processes
• Coordinate rapid and effective cross sectional response to incidents
• Leading customer facing technical conference calls in a confident and structured manner
• Lead all relevant technical teams to restore business as usual within set time scales

During the interview process you will demonstrate your experience within at least one of the following technologies:

• VMware or Hyper
• Microsoft solutions (Exchange, SQL, Lync & System Centre)
• Storage (Netapp or EMC or 3Par)

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

• Excellent all round IT knowledge preferably with a specialist skill set in One complete technology area ( ie networking, storage, Virtualization, application, Microsoft etc )
• Above combined with a Good all round understanding of multiple technologies and the elements of an End to End service (Workstation, application, network, virtualization, storage)
