Lead iOS developer to play an essential role for an innovative social media start-up company.
The Role
As a Lead iOS Developer you'll be responsible for:
- Lead and line manage the iOS team
- Be hands on in architecting, developing and debugging
- Impose sound engineering practice within the team
- Sign off on all dev work undertaken in the team
- Code reviews
- Estimate upcoming pieces of work alongside with the PM
The person
The successful Lead iOS developer will have extensive experience of working with Android. In addition the Lead iOS Developer will have:
- Deep knowledge and experience working with the iOS SDK
- Complete understanding of the iOS app life cycle, memory management and developing for a mobile device
- Apps live in the App Store. At least 2 but more preferably more
- Knowledge of standard interface elements and be able to implement more with custom functionality.
- Experience of Core graphics and animations
- Experience using UI View Auto Resizing and Auto Layout with knowledge of Interface Builder, nib files and storyboards
- Good knowledge of multi-threaded programming concepts, GCD and NS Operation Queues
- Comfortable working with RESTful API's using JSON
- Knowledge of Git
- Issue tracking tools such as JIRA
