A exciting Vacancy has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a fantastic company based in Halewood.

The main duties and responsibilities for a Contracts Manager are as follows:

* As a Contracts Manager you will Provide a professional service delivery that meets the demands of the production facility as an automotive OEM.

*Be responsible for the company (and it's contractors) H&S deliverance and report out issues raised, opportunities to support activities, production, maintenance and the company's added value orders.

*Manage the service delivery of the contracted scope of work set out between the company and their client.

*Plan and schedule the working activities between the onsite team of Engineers and tier one/two suppliers.

*Set and maintain service delivery standards, undertake audits and accurately record the outcomes.

*Interact with clients PM & reactive maintenance teams for information transfer.

*Proactively identify service contract development and project work opportunities.

*To undertake timely reporting to senior management on a weekly, monthly quarterly basis.

*Contract/Contractor control - commercial budgets, operations & systems adherence.

The successful candidate will be educated to at least a degree level or HNC equivalent with a minimum of 10 years experience working in an automotive or similar environment. A Health and Safety accreditation and project management would be desirable. The successful candidate will have knowledge of facility infrastructure maintenance - M&E systems, projects, refrigeration, plumbing and civil engineering.

You must have experience of both managing and supervising technical or administrative personnel, due to the nature of the role you will have excellent communication skills, and an ability to work to tight deadlines, whilst at all times demonstrating energy, enthusiasm, commitment and a desire to achieve goals. You will be results driven with excellent customer service skills.

In order to undertake the duties and responsibilities required of this role, the successful candidate must be IT literate, with experience of report and instruction writing.

The overall purpose of this position is to pro-actively manage, plan and co-ordinate a schedule of mechanical, electrical, refrigeration and civil engineering preventative maintenance activities of the FM service contract. By instruction, guidance and active involvement the Manager will lead a team of employees in the delivery of the disciplined programme of PM/Reactive/Project activities to planned timing and cost control.
