Staff Nurse, TF10 7BL

RNA or RGN Level 1 required. Should be NMC PIN holder or should be eligible to undertake nurse supervised practice/ONP. Responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development of programmes of care and/or implementation and evaluation of these programmes; To carry out and implement care plans; To liaise with GPs, Social workers, Hospital team and families; Administration of medication/ drugs; Monitor patient's progress, apply surgical dressings and give other forms of treatment; Carry out routine investigations; Respond quickly to emergencies; Advise on nursing care, disease prevention, nutrition, etc and liaise with the management on issues concerning nursing policy; Assist the matron to ensure that each resident receives care appropriate to his/her individual need; Assist medical doctors, deal with emergencies and prepare patients for examination; Participate in the preparation for physical and psychological treatment of mentally ill patients; To monitor and supervise junior staff; To provide high quality of care to the residents in the home.
