Description: About the role The role involves routine stability testing of depilatory cream and wax products whilst ensuring strict quality specifications are met. These tasks will include chemical analysis, report writing and liaising with project leaders to feedback results. The successful candidate must also ensure that this high volume of work is completed accurately, within tight deadlines and therefore effectively prioritise the workload. Main responsibilities in this role would be: o To ensure that analysis is conducted in compliance with standards of Good Laboratory Practices. o To ensure that analytical results are checked, approved and recorded and available for inspection. o To ensure that equipment used is maintained and calibrated to appropriate standards. o To understand and follow all necessary Health & Safety systems and ensure that work is consistent with safe working practices. o To participate in continuous improvement programmes. o To maintain high standards of laboratory housekeeping in his or her work area. o To carry out miscellaneous clerical and technical duties as required. Qualifications: Qualifications The successful candidate will have a scientific degree-level education (or equivalent); will be able to demonstrate self-motivation, strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Their enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will make them an effective team member and approachable point of contact for the project leaders.
