Linux Engineer - Manchester - GBP35,000 + Benefits
Linux Engineers are required for our industry leading client based in the city centre of Manchester. Depending on skills and experience, we are looking to pay a salary of between GBP30,000 and GBP35,000 per year (plus excellent company benefits, company incentives, associated bonuses and a superb, state-of-the-art of working environment with great people).
Skills and Experience:
- Installing, maintaining and supporting Linux Servers, ideally Red Hat/Debian based distributions
- Installing, configuring and supporting the following applications and services:
o Apache/NgiNX
o MySQL/PostgreSQL
o DNS
o Networking
o FTP
o Mail Servers
- RHCE/RHCA/RHCESA
Role and Responsibilities: You will be assisting with and maintaining customer solutions via telephone and email, analysing and solving customer problems and helping with server setup/configuration and support. All we ask from you is that you are a team player with a can do attitude.
