Operations Manager (Visitor Experience/Customer Service)

Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 dependent on experience

Background

Situated in the heart of Bradford, UNESCO City of Film, this Museum is dedicated to exploring the science, technology and art of the still and moving image, and its impact on their lives. They are currently seeking an Operations Manager who will become an integral part of the team in Bradford welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors per year.

Purpose

The successful candidate will be expected to make a significant contribution to delivering a welcoming, engaging and inspiring visitor experience. You will manage a small team and work with colleagues across the whole of the Museum and the wider Museum Group to ensure their site is safe, co-ordinated effectively and that any issues are resolved quickly so that each visitor has a positive and memorable experience.

You will have an excellent understanding of health and safety, having been in a management role in a customer-facing environment at a visitor attraction or other large public facility. You will be able to lead, influence and engage with a wide variety of people, including visitors and your own team as well as both internal and external stakeholders.

You will be adaptable, resourceful, able to stay calm in difficult situations and always looking for ways to achieve excellence.
