Business Manager/Commercial Manager (Lending, Products, Bank)

Our financial services client based in London is looking for a Business Manager/Commercial Manager to deliver leading customer management programmes, drive and support projects and initiatives across the business.

Essential skills and experience:

* Retail banking experience
* Ideally knowledge of Consumer Lending - Knowledge of regulatory and market trends, commercial drivers and products within the consumer finance industry
*Strong analytical skills - any previous experience in analytical role would be beneficial

*Excellent Commercial acumen - Understand and can apply Value Based Management techniques and methodologies

*Experience of leading teams or virtual teams across functions in a Matrix organisation is important
*Experience of influencing, persuading and negotiating with colleagues up and down levels of the organisation and across Functions is critical to be successful in this role
*A self-motivated team player who is able to naturally assume ownership of initiatives, define, structure and prioritise work for self as well as others but who also has the flexibility and capability to change priorities when circumstances dictate.
*Broader industry and business knowledge

This is a contract role initially until the end of the year. The rate is GBP400-GBP500 per day.
