Job Elements: -
• Manage large capital projects - £100K+ including identifying project requirements, scoping, concept and delivery,
• Manage contractors and suppliers
• Manage the communications process associated with the project
• Manage the project / operate within financial constraints
• Bring the project in on time / hit deadlines/Cost
• Liaise with internal functions e.g. Technical Team, Production Team, Engineering Team
• Some travel required
The Ideal Candidate will: -
• Proven experience of managing large capital projects 100K+ within the manufacturing industry
• Strong technical background - degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (ideally electrical engineering)
• Experience of managing projects across a multi site business
• Computer literate / familiar with CAD and Microsoft Project
• Awareness of health and safety legislation ideally supported by a recognised qualification
• Excellent planning and organising skills
