Linux Engineer - Linux/VMWare/eCommerce

Linux Engineer required. The successful Linux Engineer will come from a strong UNIX/Linux Systems Administration background, and experience of working in a large enterprise level environment.

The Linux Engineer will be responsible for monitoring the health of complex online systems and cloud services, responding to alerts and e-mails, performing proactive maintenance tasks and escalating and co-ordinating incidents with the technical services teams.

KEY SKILLS

• UNIX/Linux Systems Administration
• Network Administration
• Enterprise scalable eCommerce applications experience
• Cloud technologies such as Openstack, Elastic Cloud, Azure
• Developing Tools, Scripts and Automation
• HP Openview, Nagios or similar monitoring tools
• ITIL/Incident Management
