Abrecco wish to recruit an Information Security/Business Continuity Analyst on behalf of our Edinburgh based client.
The successful candidate will take ownership for information Security, Data Protection, and Business Continuity across the organisation, while building strong relationships with a network of peers within the group IS structure. You will deliver controls and processes that ensure compliance with current and future regulatory obligations, and will define and manage the framework under which these controls are monitored. As a key member of the IT team you will assist in the development of the Information Security policy and will assist different business areas to ensure their business continuity and resilience plans are effective and in accordance with the policy. Ideally you will also have experience of planning and coordinating Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery tests, ensuring that appropriate documentation is recorded and maintained across the company.
To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills:
Essential:
- Educated to degree or post-graduate level
- Extensive background in Information Security, Business Continuity, and Data Projection
- Relevant Information Security/Data Protection qualifications (ISO27001, ISEB Practitioner in IRM, GIAC)
- Experience of Information Security within the financial services arena
- Understanding of Information Security concepts, practises, and standards
- Experience project management techniques
- Experience in analysis techniques
Desirable:
- Degree or post-graduate qualification in Information Security
