Development Manager - Software - C# - .Net

WBRS are currently seeking a Development Manager for a Software Solutions organisation.

This is a challenging and exciting role for an individual who wants to make a stamp within a company and be a part of an innovative and established business.

Detailed Role Description

• Preparation of a development plan, delivery of application software in accordance with it and reporting of progress against it
• Monitor the quality and productivity within the development team - installing process and good practice
• Meeting with customers when required
• Recruitment, development and management of staff
• Establishing methodologies and responsibility for development activity including; good design and coding practice; business analysis in order to deliver good solutions; quality assurance for coding and testing and supporting documentation for development activity

Core Experiences and Competencies

• Proof of successfully managing the full application development lifestyle
• Good skills in project planning and progress reporting
• Experience of mentoring, motivating and managing a team
• A full understanding of software house operation and its business model
• A knowledge of C# and/or .NET and the problems that can arise with it
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with other departments and managers
