Senior Check Point Firewall Specialists - CCSE/CCSA - Enterprise - Network - Cisco, CCNA/CCDP

Senior Firewall Specialists to join a Tier 1 Banking organisation. Joining a talented team who is dedicated to providing the necessary Firewall protection to the organisations networks. You will be a key person within the organisation for any Firewall Support.

Due to growth within the business, our client are looking to expand the team and recruit an additional 3x Firewall Specialists to join a dynamic, hardworking 24/7 specialist team to take responsibility of successfully protecting the 1 in 3 people who use the systems within the UK as well as the 10 million active online banking users.

Key accountabilities:

• Knowledge of Checkpoint Firewalls and associated products essential (CCSE/CCSA).

• Leadership skills, running a shift as part of the management team within Networks. This includes acting as the escalation point for technical and processes.

• Knowledge of Network technology Data Centre Network Infrastructure, Wide Area and Local network skills (CCNA, CCDP)

• Ability to provide technical guidance to colleagues & third parties

• Excellent planning and co-ordination skills the ability to effectively prioritise and to work with a minimum of supervision

• There will be a need to participate in a 24/7 shift rota acting as the shift leader, must be flexible.

Due to the size of the Bank and the growth in the business, the ideal candidates can be based in one of many office locations, including London - London Bridge, Edinburgh, Bristol or Halifax.
