Network and Security Analyst (F5 Specialist)

We have an immediate requirement for a 3rd Line IP Networking and Security Engineer with a specialism in F5 Load Balancing technology to work with one of our top Cisco Gold Partner clients.

Based in their dedicated Network Operations Centre, the primary responsibility of this role will be to provide third-line technical support for managed service customers. The ideal candidate will join our managed services team with existing networking and security skills; they will be able to implement configuration changes and provide end-to-end incident support to the majority of the following managed devices including:

• F5 Load Balancing
• Check Point FireWall-1 and VSX
• Cisco ASA/PIX Firewalls
• Cisco Routers & Switches (Nexus)

What we are looking for?

• Excellent communication skills and an ability to calmly manage 3rd line issues to resolution, whilst keeping senior management and VIP customers appraised of the situation.
• Check Point Firewall-1 and VSX experience essential R7x (CCSE ideal)
• Strong Cisco Switching and Routing (CCIE ideal)
• Cisco ASA/PIX experience
• F5 LTM skills advantageous (v10/v11)
