Our client is looking for an experienced Network Consultant to deliver complex and bespoke ICT and network connectivity/MPLS projects

This will be a customer facing role and will require you to work alongside pre-sales and sales teams providing technical designs and validation for customer network connectivity solutions.

This role will include travel to customer sites.

Essential experience:

• Extensive technical experience in a network project implementation role
• Cisco Professional Certification, preferably CCIE.
• Advanced knowledge of WAN, MAN and LAN and other ICT technologies.
• Able to work independently on projects and support issues
• Full understanding of TCP/IP protocol stack backed up by hands on experience working with IPv4 and IPv6.
• Proven experience working with MPLS technologies including L2/L3 VPN and traffic engineering, OSPF, BGP, and QoS on Cisco networks.
• Good communications and customer service skills and proven record of liaising directly with customers, vendors, service providers and suppliers.
• Hands on experience in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco network equipment, especially Routers and Switches
• Working knowledge of security products; Cisco ASA, Juniper, Checkpoint, Palo Alto & Fortigate
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Visio

Desirable (but not essential):

• Excellent skills in configuring and troubleshooting Brocade Routers and Switches
