IS Administrator (Report Writing, Excel, VBA, Microsoft background)
My Yorkshire based Client are looking for an IS Administrator (Report Writing, Excel, VBA, Microsoft background) to focus on maintenance and development of the companies reporting structure to give efficiency improvements and/or add further value against European region business objectives. A key part of the role is therefore interrogating business data and report writing support which will entail a high degree of exposure to users in the business. In addition you will provide technical support in the operation of IT systems which will entail answering support enquiries ranging from simple IT problems to more complex scenarios, including hardware, software and network issues. You will take ownership of user problems and be proactive in resolving issues, providing advice and arranging company and third party interventions as necessary.
Desirable core competencies are:
-Advanced excel 2010, including VBA
-Advanced report writing background
-Helpdesk (support) experience
-IBI Webfocus systems
-Strong knowledge Microsoft based operating systems
-Experience using and troubleshooting Microsoft office
-Knowledge of Citrix, Lotus, Kaspersky, PC hardware setup and configuration, network principles
