Environment Manager - Northampton

Join an industry leading, rapidly expanding client! You will join a team that is responsible for delivering reusable, scalable, fit for purpose, fully integrated, cost effective release environments to change delivery organisation.

You will be responsible for:
* The co-ordination of provisioning of all non production environments across all platforms using automation and lean principles where available.
* Data depersonalisation of all customer data in a non production environment and provisioning of data for testing.
* Responsible for the conceptualising, developing and implementing automation solutions for the deployment operations team, with the goal of reducing time and effort on task, to increase testing coverage and to mitigate risks you will also
* support their DevOps initiative to move there current applications in a delivery model that supports CI / CD, automated testing and the deployment of infrastructure as code.

This role will require significant experience in one or more of the following technology areas:
o IBM Z-series mainframes - CICS Administration, DB2, batch processing concepts (JCL, scheduler, SDSF), Cobol application programming, SCM (Endevor or equivalent), REXX and other automation utilities
o Web facinhannels technology - WebSphere/JBOSS,UNIX/Linux administration & Scripting, Oracle database 11g, JAVA/JEE/Javascript. Internet basics (TCP, SSL, TLS, DNS, Email, network connectivity)
o Security - RACF (Mainframe), SSL encryption, Firewaldigital certificate management, encryption keys management, test data depersonalization (Informatica ILM)o Middleware - WAS, MQ, Load balancers (F5), file transfer (Connect Direct, FTP, SFTP, FTPS), enterprise messaging system (using XML, SOAP, web services), enterprise service bus, content management
o Automation - Scripting (VB/JAVA/PYTHON/PERL/Ruby, etc.), Automation frameworks/engines, test automation (QTP/LoadRunner), environment monitoring (New Relic, Automic, Nolio), workflow management & reporting
DEVOPS/Agile/Lean methods and tools - configuration management (Chef/Puppet), Continuous integration/delivery (Jenkins/Hudson), Cloud computing, virtualisation, collaboration (Jira/confluence)

You will also have relevant domain knowledge in one or more of the following:
Credit Cards - Issuing, acquiring, payments, risk, interchange, authorisations or Banking, Lending, Insurance or another Financial Services industry.
