Austin Fraser are proud to be working with one of the UK's most highly regarded managed service providers who are currently searching for a strong Technical Consultant to join them on a permanent basis working closely with clients from all sectors.

As Technical Consultant you will be required to take the lead of Infrastructure projects as well as providing BAU support throughout the client portfolio.

Your role will consist of working closely with clients to understand their technical needs and providing a solid IT service across numerous project led tasks.

Core Technical Requirements:

- Familiarisation with HP Server Hardware - Proliant G8, C7000 (Intelligent Provisioning)
- Installing & Configuring Flex Fabric/Virtual Connect Modules
- Configuring HP Storage: EVA, 3Par
- SAN Zoning
- Basic networking skills
- Installing & Configuring VMware ESXi 5.x
- Microsoft Hyper V and Windows Server familiarisation
- Some knowledge of Veeam/DataProtector/Backup Exec would be useful

Desired Certifications:

- Microsoft or equivalent
- VMware VCP
