Teaching Assistant (PMLD)

A fantastic special needs school based in Greenwich are currently recruiting for a PMLD teaching assistant to start in September 2015.

The school caters for students who have a statement of Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Autism (ASD). A high percentage of students at the school are non verbal so the school have a lot of emphasis on Makaton, with signage all around the school.

There is a mixture of abilities with many students being non-verbal or having a few words within their vocabulary.

They are looking for someone who is a self- motivated and who is keen to help develop the provision.
