PK education is currently recruiting for a Science Teacher to work in an Academy based in South Nottinghamshire. This position is full time starting as soon as possible after April 20 th 2015. The school are recruiting for an experienced Science Teacher - with any specialism - Physics, Biology or Chemistry at Key Stage 3 and 4. The school is easily accessible from most areas of Nottingham & Nottinghamshire, Loughborough, Long Eaton, Beeston and surrounding areas, by public transport and by road from most areas in Nottingham, with parking available.

Suitable applicants for this position would:

• Have a recognised teaching qualification and hold QTS or QTLS.


• Have a positive approach to managing difficult behavior and be passionate about your subject, and this is evident in your teaching.


• Have experience teaching Key Stage 3 & 4 Science - Biology, Physics or Chemistry.

You will be required to do all planning, marking and preparation for the classes you are responsible for as well as attending school meetings and parent's evening.

The successful applicant will be a qualified secondary trained Science Teacher with a solid background of teaching Science in UK secondary schools - NQT's are suitable. All applicants will be subject to past school references and a current DBS check under our clearance procedures.
