Art Teacher - September 2015 - Maternity Contract (Length - 1 Year)

PK education is currently recruiting for an Art Teacher to work in a Secondary Academy based in North Nottinghamshire (Mansfield) to start in September 2015 for a 1 year Maternity Contract. This position is Full Time and would be suitable for a qualified QTS Art Teacher looking for a long term contract. This school is accessible from Nottinghamshire, Mansfield, Nottingham, Derbyshire and surrounding areas, by public transport and by road from most areas in Nottingham, with parking available.

It is essential that applicants to this position have a recognised teaching qualification and hold QTS or QTLS.

You will need to have experience teaching Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 Art, so experience teaching A Level and As Level Art is required. You will be required to do all planning, marking and preparation for the classes you are responsible for as well as attending school meetings and parent's evening.

The successful applicant will be a qualified Secondary Art Teacher with a solid background of teaching in UK secondary schools - NQT's are suitable. All applicants will be subject to past school references and a current DBS check under our clearance procedures.
