About Us
Cargiant, the largest single site car supermarket in the world, is currently recruiting a Social Media Executive to join our Marketing department in White City (North West London).
The purpose of this role is to take full responsibility for Cargiant's social media presence, managing our reputation and customer enquiries online.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Managing the online community, growing followers and fans across all platforms with an on-target audience interested in cars
- Developing, implementing and optimising successful social media campaigns to raise awareness of the Cargiant brand and engaging audiences - this will include research and development of monthly and annual media and posting plans
- Finding the best ways to drive traffic to the Cargiant website and generating leads
- Using social media listening and management tools to deliver, measure and monitor activity with the aim to draw actionable insights to improve communications, tactics and campaigns
- Navigating the internal customer database and daily liaisons with the customer service team to effectively manage customer enquiries and reviews via the Review Centre, Google + and Facebook in a timely manner
- Keeping in touch with the retail side of the business, sourcing new, interesting and inspiring content from the showrooms
- Becoming completely absorbed within the industry, curating content and seeking partnerships opportunities to deliver professional and inspiring communications
- Creating and adapting content for specific networks - copywriting and creativity is essential
- Driving customer reviews for Cargiant services and products on third party sites
- Working with the data analyst to ensure efficient delivery of weekly reports
About you
- Proven social media experience as well as experience managing and growing online/social communities across an array of platforms
- Experience of working with social media management and listening tools with the ability to recommend the best technologies
- Excellent English communication skills (written - including copywriting and verbal)
- Ability to demonstrate understanding of consumer attitudes, motivations and behaviours in social environments
- Advanced user of social media networks and tools, with experience of either running a blog, or range of social media accounts
- Have knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO and PPC
- Have an understanding of acquisition and retention of customers via digital media channels
Ideally, you will also have the following experience
- An entrepreneurial spirit with a thirst for learning, growing and developing
- Business and Marketing degree
- Ability to recommend the best social media listening and management technologies
