Reference: 16587 Start Date: Immediate Description: Job purpose:
  • To monitor and supervise all TUK and contractor works in order to have sustainable safe and efficient TLSB operations.
  • To ensure equipment for TLSB operations is prepared and checked prior to use in Quad 204 areas ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Adherence to TLSB Control of Work procedures and policy.
  • Raise and monitor safe systems of work documentation for Quad 204 Project activities in TLSB areas
  • To carry out and attend toolbox talks to monitor consistent approach by TLSB and contractor supervisors
  • To deputise for the TLSB Manager during periods of 24 hour operations
Reporting lines and interactions:
  • Functionally reports to: TLSB Manager
  • Directly supervises (operationally): Technip Operations, Peterson core crew activity and Jumbo Reel Carrier general activities and interaction with wider project workscopes.
Key Interactions
  • TLSB Equipment Supervisors for daily coordination of work activities planned and approved by TLSB Logistics Coordinator and TLSB Base Manager
  • TLSB Equipment Supervisor for Mob shift or JRC team coordination (when working 24/7)
  • Liaise with contractor supervisor to coordinate Technip base operation to project requirements where TUK and contractor operatives (core crew) are concerned - husbandry, tidiness, marking up mobed/de-mobed kit etc.
  • Liaising with TLSB Logistics Coordinator and TLSB Materials Coordinator on strategic location and preparation of items and equipment prior to, and following, vessel mobilisations/demobilisations
  • Promote CoW policy and procedure consistency to all by:- Checking task-specific control of work documentation, attend contractor, project crane operator, and TLSB toolbox talks.
  • Liaise with HSSE Advisor and TLSB Lifting Engineer to monitor approved relevant CoW
  • Liaise with contractor Quad 204 supervisor in regular checks on equipment suitability and updating of TLSB equipment certification.

  • Supervise and monitor contractor labour and plant required for TLSB operational activities so that project teams, equipment and labour are ready and executed safely and efficiently
  • Monitor contractor activity to see that it is being carried out as called off on approved Daily Call Off (DCO) or on contract amended fixed term basis.
  • Monitor all staff at TLSB (TUK, contractors and sub contractors) are following TLSB Policy and Procedures
Profile: Must have:
  • Experience in use and maintenance of lifting plant, transportation vehicles and equipment
  • Knowledge and experience for vessel operations, rigging and quayside operations
  • Oil and gas experience in onshore/offshore construction will be advantageous
  • Experience in supervising staff/crew and coordinating marine or base activities
  • Computer literate
Nice to have:
  • Stores/logistics experience beneficial
Main accountabilities:
  • Responsible for TLSB daily checks to CoW, contractor timekeeping and plant provision, and own reporting administration which contributes primarily to TLSB Daily Progress Report (DPR).
  • Will play an active role in promoting Health, Safety, Security and Environmental regulations and TLSB site rules, policy and procedures
  • Will play an active role in promoting Traffic/Pedestrian Management Plans and advise users.
  • Require to be proactive in Emergency Response activity in finding, notifying and reporting incidents and emergencies
  • Require to be proactive in optimal use of storage areas to best deliver efficient project requirements by following best practice
  • During project operations and vessel mobilisations Base Operations Supervisors will monitor the work on opposite shifts 24/7 to maintain a strong TLSB supervisory presence.
