DSP Software Verification Contract - Scotland

IC Resources has an urgent requirement for a DSP Software Verification Contractor that requires experience in the following skill set:

- Python Scripting
- Verifying Embedded DSP Code
- Knowledge of Audio products
- Manual and Automated Testing

IC Resources has an urgent requirement for an important client based in Scotland. The role is for a 6 month contract to start as soon as possible for on site work. The responsibilities of the role include: Verification of embedded DSP code; Interpreting Requirements Specifications to develop test benches for the DSP algorithms; Evaluation and analysis of audio enhancement and customer specific DSP functions; Support Applications Engineering for production ramp up and customer specific requirements. As a result they are looking for experience in: Python scripting; both manual and automated testing experience; Interfacing (manually and via software) with a hardware-based evaluation environment; Unit, integration and system level testing; produce meaningful test documentation and test results; Clearly report bugs and issues using issue tracking; develop efficient and maintainable code with a good knowledge of software design principles and processes; DSP Architectures.
