Contract Senior Staff Accountant, Contract Accountant, Temporary Accountant.

Based in Cambridge, we are currently seeking a Contract Senior Staff Accountant for an initial 6 months with the potential to extend. The role will hold responsibility for supporting statutory accounting alongside integration into a new SAP ERP system. The key areas of the role will include:

Updating and uploading statutory adjustments for the local books across International entities to the SAP statutory accounts ledgers.
Review of new SAP chart of accounts compared to local statutory book chart of accounts, and update mapping to ensure all local accounts used in 2014 are flowing correctly into SAP
Reconcile the Fixed Asset local ledgers in SAP to the Fixed Asset register previously maintained by external advisors across a number of International entities.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, Internal Controls and SOX

University degree required, with emphasis in accounting or equivalent work experience.
Fully chartered accountant or other recognized accountancy qualification preferred
