Dealership Accountant

A large established and successful Used Car supermarket in Oldham are looking for hands on Accountant to oversee the company's accounts whilst working closely with the General Manager to help enhance their performance.

You will be responsible for overseeing the effective operation of the accounts department, producing accurate management accounts to strict timescales and ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis.

Other significant functions of the role include

* Preparation of monthly payroll using sage payroll system

* Preparation of budget and forecasts

* Day to day functions include bank reconciliations and debtors reports

The role will ideally be filled by a ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant or Qualified by experience. You will be able to work under your own initiative whilst also supporting other members of the team. You will have experience in a financial reporting and be able to demonstrate your ability to understand complex detail and present it in a simple and effective way.

Experience of the motor industry and Pinewood (Pinnacle) system whilst beneficial are not essential to this role.
