You will need to be a dedicated KS2 Teacher - Leading on literacy who has at least 1 year of teaching experience and a track record of 'Good' or better teacher. The ideal individual should be able to deliver new, relevant content in their lessons and grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently. You will possess no issues with creating an interactive, relaxed, and fun atmosphere in class as long as all curriculum targets are being met and pupils are learning effectively.

In this KS2 Teacher - Leading on literacy position you will be teaching a KS2 class to be decided nearer the time. Your duties will include encouraged and supported by the HA Headteacher who will offer you all the informal advice and more structured training you need to succeed. Your duties will include following an extensive CPD and training plan that allows teachers to develop in any areas they are struggling with. You will be supported in class by a full-time Teaching Assistant, allowing you to focus on maximising your teaching, confident in the knowledge that all disruptions will be dealt with swiftly and effectively. As a KS2 Teacher - Leading on literacy you will be teaching in accordance with the school's holistic and supportive ethos.
