Maths Teacher

A secondary school located in the county of Essex is seeking to appoint a talented and dedicated Maths Teacher. This post commences in September 2015 and whilst initially temporary, it has the possibility of becoming permanent.

The most recent Ofsted inspection in 2013, rated the school as 'Good' across all areas. The report observed that students behave responsibly and show positive attitudes to learning. Teaching is consistently strong and students achieve well due to the positive atmosphere during lessons. Additionally, the school's leadership and management team are effective in ensuring that school policies are consistently applied throughout the school so that students understand what is expected of them by all.

The school has 1120 pupils of mixed gender aged 11-16 on roll. There is an extensive range of extra-curricular activities available for students such as; table tennis, badminton, rugby, dance club, netball, debate club, guitar and keyboard club and a variety of foreign language classes. Through this wide array of activities, students are able to develop their confidence in addition to advancing their education.

The school has excellent transport links with four train stations within 5 miles of the school and London Stansted airport can be reached in 40 minutes by car.
