Senior Marketing Executive - Financial Publishing - London - To GBP26k + bonus
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading industry publication within a global FTSE 250 financial publishing company during an exciting time of growth and development. After their recent acquisition and subsequent merger with another publication, they have since rebranded and are on their way to becoming the industry's leading service for infrastructure and finance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for user engagement and lead generation on this high-yield subscription product, and will report directly into the Senior Marketing Manager.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of B2B marketing experience
- Good organisation in order to meet strict deadlines
- IT literate (especially Excel)
- Experience with Neolane, FastStats and HTML would be a plus
- Publishing/subscriptions background would also be a plus
- Campaign management experience
- Structured processes, deadline focused with excellent attention to detail
- Degree in Marketing or similar.
Responsibilities:
- To pro-actively manage subscription sales through working closely with the sales team
- Manage all marketing campaigns and functions both online & offline, testing new ideas
- Develop new initiatives to increase subscription engagement and retention and continue with tried and tested techniques
- Track & analyse results from campaigns in order to improve future performance and ROI
- Develop a marketing plan with the marketing manager that aims to over-achieve the forecast
- Continue to look to improve demand generation, lead nurturing and scoring
- Liaise with the product manager, marketing manager, development team and editorial team on product development
- To manage the creation and deployment of all promotional activity to ensure timings sync with key features, such as events and rankings
- To co-ordinate the building of relationships with new partners that can aid in maximising the product's exposure to relevant publications, events and associations
- Grow and sustain the online usage levels of existing and new subscribers throughout their subscription life cycle
- Liaison with the product manager on paywall strategy and ideas for driving quality convertible traffic to the website (and converting those when onsite)
- Drive social media growth
- Analysis of the subscriber base and their usage to spot opportunities and threats.
This is a superb opportunity at a company which really fosters employee development and progression. It will be a strong learning curve and the successful candidate could easily become a Marketing Manager within a year or two.
