Our client is looking for a IT support analyst who has worked within stockbroking or financial services environment with a good understanding of Figaro and/or Crest.

 

In essence this position is to ensure that their IT systems are fit for purpose, issue resolution, system implementation, MI reporting and stakeholder relationship management

 

This is a diverse role and the department is an integral link between their system suppliers, their various business streams and third party clients and will require a high degree of Customer Focus.

 

Projects, both current and future, are a key responsibility for the department and the successful individual will need to balance often competing priorities to ensure successful delivery.

 

Main areas of focus are:

 

Applications Support - To act as initial contact for queries relating to dealing and settlement systems (JHC Figaro) To include System Configuration, facilitation of core releases, issue resolution, UAT & implementation. Facilitation of business project implementation etc.

 

To include day to day business queries relating to both process and systems, issue resolution, data collation and MI, regulatory reporting, management support and adhoc reports etc.

 

Third Party Relationships - An initial appreciation of both Client and Supplier relationships including Platform Securities and others. Act as point of escalation for all issues arising.

  • Experience of using the JHC Figaro system in a number of operational areas

  • Personal Profile

     

    The job holder is likely to be either professionally qualified or have passed the Securities Institute Diploma or equivalent; have previous experience of Financial Services with a good technical knowledge of financial instruments and processes. They will also be a team player with effective communication skills. A high quality understanding of the regulatory environment including requirements of the FCA is advantageous.
